To assist in the implementation and monitoring of the Water and Sanitation section outputs, with one of three possible focus in four available positions, all based in Maputo.

How can you make a difference?

You will assist in the implementation and monitoring of the Water and Sanitation section outputs, with one of three possible focus in four available positions, all based in Maputo:

Post MOZ17037 will support the UNICEF WASH team in increasing access to water and sanitation in Mozambique.  The position will have a focus, among others, on supporting government procurement capacity for water and sanitation projects.

Post MOZ17037 will support the UNICEF WASH team in increasing access to water and sanitation in Mozambique.  The position will have a focus, among others, on coordination of financial and planning processes for the water and sanitation programme.

Posts MOZ17039 and MOZ17040 will support the UNICEF WASH team in increasing access to water and sanitation in Mozambique.  These positions will have a focus, among others, on field monitoring and capacity development of UNICEF counterparts, mainly at the decentralized level.

 

As an advocate for every child you will have…

  • At least a University (first) degree in public health, social sciences, behaviour change communication, sanitary engineering or other specialist field related to WASH.
  • At least two years of professional work experience in WASH-related programmes for developing countries, as well as background/familiarity with Emergency situations.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese are required.
