Competencies

III. Competencies and special skills requirement:

  • Have previous experience in big data for development or humanitarian action, for instance: research experience in big data for development including big data for official statistics, financial data for sustainable development, mobile data for humanitarian action.
  • Fair experience in the analysis of locational data and geo-temporal data.
  • Fair knowledge on statistics and statistical analysis.
  • Good understanding on Big data and Development Context.
  • Hands-on skills with software and tools for data mining, data analytics, data modelling, and data visualization.
  • Fair working experience with open-source software and with multiple organizations
  • Good skills for written and verbal English.

Required Skills and Experience

I. Academic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of master degree from all discipline with relevant research experiences in data analysis.  

II. Years of experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years (Master) or 4 years (Bachelor) (of working experience in data collection, analytics and modelling experience for real world phenomenon.
