We work in 135 countries and territories, reaching over one million children, young people, families and caregivers each year.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and back-office support to Directors of Fund Development/Communications and Finance/Controlling in inbox-management, workspace-handling, travel-organisation, team-support etc.
  • Organise/coordinate events such as conferences, workshops, team-meetings, including facilitation
  • Coordinate annual planning & reviewing process within department plans
  • Responsible for regional office cash box, keeping cash book and liquidity, maintenance of bank account and credit cards etc.
  • Support in monitoring office budget use

 

Requirements

  • University degree or executive training in secretarial, business administrative assistance or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in office administration, managerial executive support, project management, additionally experience in cashier work, main finance procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and intercultural understanding
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, but also strong in team work
  • Ability to handle stress in a positive manner and to maintain a professional attitude in all situations
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, ability to handle information with confidentiality
  • Fluency in English and German, both verbally and in written form
  • Highly proficient in the use of internet and standard software such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc. as well as virtual collaboration tools
  • Applicants must hold a valid Austrian working permit or are eligible to work within the EU
