We are looking for a highly qualified candidate who can fit the position of Interview Skills Trainer in Akkar. 

 
Who are we? 
DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan. 
DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.

About the job 
To teach adults and how to behave during an interview. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities 
• Delivers presentations suited to the characteristics and needs of the beneficiaries. 
• Teach beneficiaries the skills of communication, presentation and answering questions, in addition to how to prepare for any interview. 
• Teach the beneficiaries how to behave and act during an interview procedure. 
• Response to all questions and gives examples. 
• Conduct about ten practical examples on how to behave during interviews. 
• Prepare and conduct pre and posttest for the beneficiaries and report the results. 
• Conduct a full day work shop for no less than 4 days per week/8 hours per day including coffee and lunch break. 
• Distribute flyers and documents related to the workshop field.

 

About you 

To be successful in this role you must have:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field.

Moreover we also expect the following:

Required qualifications 

• Experience in leading groups and conducting activities for different age groups (Youth preferable). 
• Experience in Leading and guiding others to develop new skills or knowledge. 
• Experience in delivering messages needed to be addressed.

 

 

Desirable qualifications 
• Already a leader and conducted several workshops related to interview procedures. 
• Ability to work under pressure and be a problem solver. 
• Demonstrated ability in teaching, curriculum development and adult training and education. 
• Good communication skills. 
• Facilitation skills.

 

Ideally, you will also have: 

• Arabic: very good 
• English: fluent (written and spoken)

 

 

We Offer 
DRC will offer the successful applicant a contract till the end of December 2017, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from the End of September 2017 and be willing and able to work in Akkar. 
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment, equivalent to 80$/per day to max 350$ per month (work shop can take up to 4 or 5 days per month).
