Job description

  • Perform daily data entry of collected data by field staff from all core competencies in east,
  • Regularly monitor and administer received data collected by field staffs of all core competencies;
  • Responsible for data cleaning and data analysis, data aggregation and periodic review and verification of the data, and reporting of data to M&E Coordinator and ICLA PM, such as to produce descriptive statistics on output and outcome data.
  • Ensure data quality through implementing data management control and procedures (give feedbacks to M&E Coordinator also in the monthly report about this aspect in all CC of east);
  • Conduct Monitoring visits of the targeted areas as per the M&E Plans.
  • Provide regular advice/ comments for field staff on modifying databases to meet the information needs of project managers and improve the data processing and reporting capacity ensuring to fill gaps through data if any. (share Database with relevant people in office in coordination with M&E coordinator);
  • Prepare, maintain, and update files (electronic and hard copy) of all projects in east;
  • Participate in NRC staff seminars and training, whenever scheduled;
  • Respect the anonymity of clients approaching NRC and the confidentiality of information received from the clients;
  • Develop, modify and maintain the M&E database according to the program requirement.
  • Create excel databases and tracking sheets for other core competences projects.
  • Data feeding into the Global Output/Outcome Reporting System (GORS) online system.
  • Coordinate process to establish programme level M&E systems
  • Participate in log frame design during project proposal process to support on indicator formulation
  • Support and contribute to the development of a data management system through documentation, implementation and coordination of standardized information flow of M&E activities and reporting
  • Submit regular reports to M&E Coordinator.
  • Travel to provinces as per need.
  • Any other tasks given by supervisor if needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Considerable work experience with international and national NGOs in the database system will also be considered; At least 3 years’ experience in an international NGO preferably in an emergency or post-conflict setting, including M&E capacity and systems development;
  • Experience from working in IDP /refugee related programmes;
  • Able to work effectively within a multi-cultural team environment and gender respectful settings;
  • Excellent report writing skills;
  • Good knowledge of database design, maintenance and administration;
  • Experience in data collection and good knowledge of troubleshooting skills;
  • Very good communication and organization skills;
  • Good Ability to prioritize work;
  • Good experience in ensuring the data integrity;
  • Familiarity with legal terms;
  • Ability to conduct trainings regarding database for team members;
  • Previous experience in work of IT in international or national organizations
  • English language proficiency (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Computer skills, including MS Office (Access, Excel), SPSS;
