Purpose of Assignment: To provide technical oversight and coordination for C4DiE training, capacity development and documentation of the work of frontline workers and their supervisors deployed by UNICEF’s sectors, Government, other humanitarian agencies and INGOs for Rohingya Refugees Response and system strengthening.

  • To provide technical oversight and coordination for C4DiE training, capacity development and documentation of the work of frontline workers and their supervisors deployed by UNICEF’s sectors, Government, other humanitarian agencies and INGOs for Rohingya Refugees Response and system strengthening.

  

Major Tasks and responsibilities:

2.  Support the needs assessment exercise of IPC/BCC for frontline staffs, mobilizers deployed by different sectors and partners and religious/ community influencers

3. Partnership building with technical agencies and groups for IPC/ BCC training modules development and their rollout

4.  In consultation with C4DiE M&E Focal Point, establish a robust monitoring mechanism for quality assurance of training and capacity development of partners and sectors’ frontline workers/ mobilisers, religious leaders/ community influencers

5.     Coordination of technical and operational inputs from various partners/CwC and sectors to ensure their proper involvement in and ownership of Training and Capacity Development planning and execution

Qualifications or Specialized knowledge and work experience required for the assignment:

 

·     A University Degree in social and behavioral science, sociology, anthropology, psychology, education, communication, public relations or other related social science field is required;

·     Minimum two-year professional experience in the field of social development programme planning, communications and public advocacy and/or related areas at the international and/or large organization is an asset;

·     Proven experiences and expertise in communication training and training materials development

·     Strong written and spoken communication skill in English, proficiency in Bangla will be an asset.
