The incumbent of this post is responsible to the assigned Senior Human Resources Officer (Organization Design and Classification), and works closely with other Organization Design and Classification (ODC) team members. In accordance with Agency policy and procedures, the incumbent will:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

•         Conduct research, data collection, analysis and verification, preparation or updating of organizational charts and staffing tables and other related actions in support of management reviews and decisions thereof;

•         Contribute to the analysis of work flow processes and job evaluation, including revision of post descriptions and other related documents/forms, as required;

•         Map new, or amend existing posts titles and grades, occupational and organizational units titles and locations in REACH system; review Requests for Post Actions (RPAs) and follow up with relevant staff in HR at HQs and the Fields, Budget Division and Information Management Department at HQA to ensure that due actions are taken in the system in line with the approved submission(s);

•         Update Organization Design and Classification (ODC) Section's site on the intranet and internal archiving system (electronic and physical files) ; upload new post descriptions, organizational charts,• and other relevant documents and attend to requests and queries from Fields and HQs accordingly;

•         Update the work plan including the priority list of management reviews of the section regularly in coordination with ODC staff, and follow up on pending issues bringing deadlines to the attention of the respective staff member; prepare statistics and draft reports as needed;

•         Be responsible for ODC library; keep records of books and other documentary materials, as necessary;

Professional Knowledge and Experience

•         A university degree from an accredited educational institution in public or business administration, human resources management, industrial engineering, information technology, or any related discipline;

•         A minimum of three-years relevant work experience;

•         Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications especially spread sheets and databases;

•         Very good knowledge of written and spoken English and Arabic.

Equivalency

When the minimum requirements are not fully met, Field Director for Field Area staff and Director of Human Resources for Headquarters Area staff, in consultation with the concerned supervisor may exceptionally substitute part of the unmet requirements with a combination of relevant academic qualifications, additional professional training and progressive relevant work experience. NB: Work experience alone or formal qualifications with no relevant work experience are not considered an acceptable combination.

Conditions of Service•

The fixed term appointment is for 3 years including 1 year probation period. Monthly basic salary JD 773.50. Other benefits include monthly Provident Fund contribution (15% of basic salary paid by the Agency), compulsory medical insurance, 30 days of annual leave, and dependency allowance (if applicable).
