Job description

  • Compliance and adherence to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
  • Overall coordination between all parties to the consortium
  • Assist Consortium Manager in the coordination of implementation of the consortium work plan (activities, budget and project documentation) in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements
  • Assist with the administrative aspects of the project
  • Gather internal information from field offices and NRC departments to ensure that all NRC activities are correctly recorded and reported
  • Deputies for the Consortium Manager in her absence
  • Provide background, deeper and nuanced information to the Consortium Manager relating to the locations where activities will take place
  • Assist the Consortium Manager in coordination and operational issues amongst the four consortium partners.
  • Promote holistic ‘early recovery’ solutions and strategies, within NRC, ERC and the wider humanitarian community

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in relevant fields (Project Management)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience of programmatic implementation in a humanitarian/recovery context
  • Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
  • Experience from working with refugees, IDPs or returnees
  • Experience related to at least one of the consortium activities: ICLA, Shelter, WASH, Livelihoods, previous interaction with Community Development Councils
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
