UNICEF Global Shared Services Centre is seeking candidates to support the data cleanup process for non-staff personnel in UNICEF systems. This role involves information collection, coordinating data cleanup process and liaising with Local Site Administrators and other UNICEF colleagues globally to help in expediting this process. This appointment is on a temporary basis for a 3 month duration.

How can you make a difference?


UNICEF Global Shared Services Centre is seeking candidates to support the data cleanup process for non-staff personnel in UNICEF systems. This role involves information collection, coordinating data cleanup process and liaising with Local Site Administrators and other UNICEF colleagues globally to help in expediting this process.  This appointment is on a temporary basis for a 3 month duration.


This will involve:


• Preparing, compiling and sorting documents for data entry.
• Checking source documents for accuracy.  Data verification and correction where necessary. 
• Obtaining further information for incomplete documents.
• Updating data and deleting unnecessary files.
• Combining and rearranging data from source documents where required.
• Entering data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms.
• Transcribing information into required electronic format.
• Checking completed work for accuracy. 
• Storing completed documents in designated locations.
• Maintaining logbooks and records of activities and tasks.


 As an advocate for every child, you will have…


• Completion of secondary education (high school diploma) is a minimum requirement.
• Formal computer training is an advantage.
• Five years of relevant work experience in administration or provision of IT services are required. A completed university degree from an accredited institution will be counted toward the minimum work experience requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required, including knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• Applicants must be nationals of EU countries or in possession of a valid work permit.
