Job description

  • Support M&E section in coordination process to establish programme level M&E systems
  • Help the team in working on the M&E planning and providing supporting in planning the M&E annual work plan
  • Contribute to the program data collection, entry and management system through documentation and implementation
  • Perform data collection methodology and apply M&E tools in actual data collection, as needed
  • Being familiar with digitalized data collection
  • Support the core competencies in baseline surveys and PDMs
  • Support in data management and development of clear information flow between programme and M&E staff, as needed
  • Report monitoring data in a timely manner to the M&E officer
  • Support M&E in capacity building and training of programme staff on M&E and conceptual areas, as needed
  • Come up new initiatives, should these arise during the employment period
  • Other activities agreed and discussed with the M&E officer and M&E coordinator and SO M&E Department
  • Any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor

Qualifications

  • University degree or minimum of a 12th grade and prior experience with monitoring and evaluation is required
  • Experience of working in IDP /refugee related programmers
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in an international NGO preferably in an emergency or post-conflict setting, including M&E capacity
  • English language proficiency (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Fluency in Pashtu English is desirable
  • Computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of M&E related field such as surveys, sampling and data collection methodologies
  • Experience with field level coordination with other stakeholders UN, INGOs, NGOs and government
