CAMRIS is seeking a .NET Web Application Developer to work at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Silver Spring, MD.

1 Administers, manages, designs, and documents systems required for MRSN intranet and internet activities. 2 Performs technical planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and management of internet technologies. 3 Monitors the functionality, security, and integrity of internet services. 4 Resolves technical problems with the design and delivery of internet services. 5 Researches and evaluates new technologies for web-based application development. 6 Designs a web-based data portal for de-identified patient demographics, bacterial drug sensitivity profiles, and bacterial genomic characterization. 7 Leads the development of web-based software applications utilizing Microsoft .NET. JAVA HTML, XML, AJAX, and other web technologies a plus. 8 Configures and maintains Microsoft IIS web and Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) application server software. 9 Implements robust, secure authentication and authorization systems for role-based access to the data portal. 10 Integrates the data portal with existing MRSN relational databases. 11 Provides training and training materials for users of the data portal. 12 Reviews technical designs, reports, documentation, and other materials produced by staff. 13 Provides all job-related progress reports/technical reports as requested. 14 Provide technical assistance and participate on proposal writing projects when applicable. 15 Attends relevant seminars, scientific conferences, and meetings for the MRSN program. 16 Ensures that IT programs comply with all applicable regulations and policies including Federal, DA and MEDCOM. 17 Collects and analyzes internet service usage and performance statistics.

1 3+ years of experience with building Web-based applications and Web sites in a government environment (DoD prefered) 2 2+ years of experience with Microsoft .Net (MVC Model) 3 Active Secret Security Clearance or higher.
