The Norwegian Refugee Council has approximately 5000 committed and competent employees involved in projects across four continents. In addition, NRC runs one of the world’s largest standby rosters -NORCAP, with 650 professionals, ready to be deployed on 72 hours notice when a crisis occurs

Job description

  • Liaison with commercial agencies such as travel agencies, hotels, and guesthouses when required.
  • Delivery of documents and reports to governmental entities when required
  • Ensure that travel related documents are properly filed for an accurate record keeping. This includes visa and work permit and payments
  • Extending/processing single and multiply entries visa and work permits of international staff and national.
  • Make sure that, all out coming internationals having foreigner’s registration card.
  • Update NRC visa and work permit tracking sheets and submit soft copy to relevant staff
  • Manage accommodation for staff domestically and internationally
  • Supporting staff in getting visa from different Embassies when required
  • Booking flights for staff and clearing supplier invoices on time
  • Writing letters pertaining visa and work permits for staff and registering it after getting it signed.
  • Updating staff in regularly basis regarding status of visa and work permits
  • Maintaining up to dated information about different visa procedure for different Embassies in Country.
  • Processing travel agency and guest house invoices on time
  • Updating visa and work permit tracking sheets on regularly basis
  • Proper filling and drafting of internal and external corresponded including letters to governments, memos, invitation letters, etc.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in Administration with reputable organization
  • Fluency in English language and local languages
  • Strong spoken, written and expressive Dari and Pashto language skills as required for liaison work with the various ministerial departments
