Head of Product Development

Salary: £47,154 per annum

We are currently looking for a Head of Product Development (HPD) to advance an approach to product development and evaluation that ensures our offering is robust, meets and exceeds the needs of the Islamic Relief Family and its partners and achieves stand out in a crowded marketplace. You will ensure that our product portfolio is performing optimally by working with internal and external partners to review all aspects of product development and delivery. Your aim is an exciting, diverse and engaging Fundraising offering for our supporters and target audience.

The HPD is responsible for developing a coherent Product Development Strategy that covers new and existing products. The post holder will proactively contribute to the development of a culture of innovation within IR Fundraising teams while creating a virtuous circle for our funding strategy: having long-term funders. With proven ability in planning and strategizing targets within budget constraints, the successful candidate will lead sessions on development and innovation across the Fundraising function in conjunction with Fundraising and Marketing teams.

It is essential that the post holder has experience in recognising and acting on opportunities to develop new approaches or products, developing objectives and driving change. The candidate should have proven financial and budgeting skills and experience in leading complex projects involving a wide range of stakeholders from initial planning to successful conclusion. With a background in Digital Environment including managing a digital team, experience of liaising with broad stakeholders in an international setting is also required.
