Impactpool expands - recruits Business Development Manager for India


Impactpool is a Swedish startup focused on matching global talents to career opportunities that contribute to positive social impact in the World. We work with more than 150 of the world’s most credible organizations such as UNICEF, UNHCR, WHO, ICRC, Save the Children etc.

Established in 2015, Impactpool has already built a talent pool of 250’000 registered members out of 195 countries and it continues to grow with around 3000 new members per week!


We grow at high pace and are now continuing our global expansion by recruiting a Business Development  Manager for the Indian market and for Academic Partnerships.

Today there are 500’000 non-governmental organizations in India, an enormous market that you will help us open up for our talent pool. You will increase the number of Indian members and organizations using Impactpool for their talent acquisition needs. Domestically, India is very diverse regionally, hence it is critical that our new Business Development Manager understands the cultural context and the regional diversity.

You will build partnerships with Academic institutions and offer students and alumni a career program that will increase their chances to land their dream job.

Who are we now looking for?

• Are you an entrepreneur that wants to use your exceptional talent to make the world better?
• Do you have previous professional experience of running a business in India, including sales and business development? Knowledge of local languages is an asset.
• Do you have an international network and professional experience of partnership building with Academic institutions?
• Are you intelligent, humble, self-going and a person known for coming up with ideas, solutions and turn them into real services and products?

We expect that you have an academic background yourself (preferably in Law and/or Public Administration) and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience. We truly believe that passion and dedication are the most important factors for our joint success!

Contract Duration: Fixed-Term position for one year, with 6 months probationary period.  The position will transfer into a permanent position, based on funding.

Duty station Impactpool Headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden

Remuneration: Local professional contract in Sweden. The compensation will be a combination of a base salary plus a results-based individual bonus.

Working hours: Full time 40 hours per week

Commencement day: January 2018
