Background
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical support on management of refrigerant, foams and other chemical and gases the project is phasing out;
- Carry out monitoring and evaluation work pertaining to HCFC phase out management plan;
- Ensure that the project expenditures are made in compliance with UNDP procedures;
- Preparation of inputs for periodic and annual progress reporting and other activities as required by the Multilateral Fund.
- Organization of training as part of the HCFC phase out management plan;
- Disseminate information related to the Government policy to phase out HCFCs in all affected sectors;
- Provide knowledge documentation, knowledge building and sharing.
- Provide administrative and logistics support to project implementation;
- Proper control and maintenance of financial records and supporting documents;
- Assist with the planning and organization of consultations/conference/seminar/workshop;
- Preparation of progress reports, meeting minutes, conference/seminar/workshop reports and maintain documentation and records;
- Any other duties assigned by UNDP ARR (Programme), and/or Ozone Unit that have direct relevance to the project and Country Programme.

Required Skills and Experience
- 2 - 3 years of working experience related to environmental management or environmental policy at the national and/or international level;
- Experience in refrigerant management in the air conditioning or foam-making industry or similar is an added advantage.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge in project management an asset.
