KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

  1. Assist in ensuring that the highest standard of data quality are in place;

  2. Assist in the identification and analysis of data quality issues and follow up till resolution;

  3. Assist in the identification of bottlenecks preventing real time tracking and help in finding corrective measures;

  4. Assist with the daily as well as weekly and monthly analysis on quality of data;

  5. Report issues and status of data quality to the Unit Manager periodically;

  6. Fix standards and targets for quality of data and monitor progresses; confer with Section Manager to define processes, policies and standards relating to data quality;

  7. Assist in the development of data quality indicators;

  8. Be an advocate for high quality data, developing relationships across multiple units to help address data issues;

  9. Assist in the development and implementation of data collection systems and other strategies that optimize efficiency and data quality;

  10. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities;

  11. Execute data validation, data integrity, data profiling, data auditing, and data gap analyses;

  12. Prepare compliance reports as needed by both internal or external requests;

  13. Assist in the development of an overall data quality strategy;

  14. Assist in the establishment of a data quality methodology, documenting a repeatable set of processes for determining, investigating and resolving data quality issues;

  15. Ensure real time is maintained for all LESS transactions;

  16. Liaise with LESS Local Process Experts.

  17. Design and develop an interactive and automated dashboard for real time reporting on food activities in cooperation with the Unit Manager;

  18. Develop and maintain an Incident Register with different data sources and access to multiple users;

  19. Liaise with different units within Logistics to understand and respond to their reporting needs;

  20. Extract and link data from different sources to provide periodical reports to the Unit Manager as well as ad-hoc reports requested by other units;

  21. Collect, evaluate, analyze and interpret data for decision making and to improve business performance;

  22. Assist with the analysis, streamlining and standardization of the data reporting process and continuously improve the system;

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area.

Experience: At least 4 years of responsible support experience including at least 1 year in the field of logistics, supply chain, shipping, finance, accounting, research/statistics, operation support or data analysis/management. Experience in SAP will be an added advantage.

Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Arabic.

SKILLS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

Felicity with numbers & business statistics;

Ability to handle complex and high volume of data (millions of records) and complete data analysis and interpretation;

Advanced experience with MS Excel and MS Access;

Solid presentation, communication, and organizational skills;

Ability to work in a team environment;

Ability to learn quickly;

Strong attention to detail;

Take initiative to research and resolve issues;

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;

Willing to work extended hours when needed;

Maintain confidentiality. High level of integrity is required as the position involves handling sensitive data;

Experience using SAP, SQL and popular statistical analysis tools preferred.
