Background

The Energy and Environment team of UNDP China office is looking for an intern to assist work of the team. This internship will allow the successful candidate to have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience of projects management, and to work in a multi-cultural international organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Intern of the Energy and Environment Team, under the guidance and direct supervision of programme manager of the team, will carry out the following duties and responsibilities:

·        Assist in drafting and consolidating documents.

·        Assist in the drafting, translation, and proofreading of reports and project documents related etc.

·        Assist in external and internal conferences and events of the team.

·        Assist in regular project reports reviewing and information collecting.

Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

Education: Enrolled in a graduate programme, preferably with a focus in business management, economics, international development, international relations, public policy or a related field. We may also consider final-year under-graduate students who possess knowledge in relevant fields.

Experience: Relevant academic or professional experience is desired.

Language Requirements: Full fluency in English and Chinese is critical, both written and spoken.
