UNICEF in Serbia is seeking Individual Contractor - Fundraising Corporate to assist in development, implementation and evaluation of corporate fundraising activities to raise funds to support UNICEF Serbia Country Programme. The duration of the assignment is up to 11.5 months in period February 2018 to January 2019.

Purpose of Activity/Assignment:

Under supervision of Private sector Fundraising Specialist, assist in development, implementation and evaluation of corporate fundraising activities to raise funds to support UNICEF Serbia Country Programme.

The primary focus of Private Sector Plan for 2018 is to secure increased and sustainable income for the Country Programme and to contribute to global RR as of 2018.  The plan prioritizes significant growth of the regular monthly income from individuals and from small and medium size enterprises (SMEs).

Besides monthly donations from private individuals and SMEs, UNICEF Serbia will focus on retention of the existing corporate partnerships and alliances with private foundations, increasing their value and expansion across their business channels.

 

The office will engage in new corporate partnerships focusing on few, high income and high value alliances that offer range of channels to support our work (employees, customers, technology, marketing, communication). UNICEF favours corporate partnerships that secure quality income and contribution to brand positioning through mutual collaboration.  UNICEF will explore new possibilities for partnering with two to three new corporate partners per year aiming that those partnerships secure solid income for longer term programmes and provide convening power to advance children's rights.

Work Assignment Overview

Task:

-Assist in managing overall corporate fundraising data, including corporate pledge, and information.

-Prepare and maintain updated records and reports on a periodic basis and contribute to the preparation of the annual budget and work plans

Deliverables:

-Monthly reports based on the monthly income from corporate fundraising, # of contacted corporate partners, update on corporate prospecting list on quarterly basis.

Timeframe:

February 2018- January 2019

Task:

-Assist Fundraising Specialist in retention of the existing corporate and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) pledge donors (360) that will contribute RSD 11,000.000 RSD until the end of 2018.

-Assist FR specialist in the recruitment and retention of new corporate and SMEs donors that will contribute RSD 9,600.000 RSD in twelve months period.

Deliverables:

-Monthly reports to include the following data:  # of fulfilled payments by active pledge donors and the monthly financial report on the income from SMEs pledge donors. # of phone calls with status report; # of new SMEs pledge donors with fulfilled monthly payments.

Timeframe:

February 2018- January 2019

Task:

-Ensure data entry in Donor Perfect and accurate and timely recording of corporate donors and corporate employees pledge donors.

Deliverables:

-Monthly reports to include number of data entered in Donor Perfect with the attached SBRM monthly report.

Timeframe:

February 2018- January 2019

Task:

-Support Fundraising Specialist in management of the existing corporate and corporate/private foundations partnerships. Carry out administrative and operational tasks for fundraising activities, including obtaining clearances and approvals from PSD/HQ, in coordination with the Regional Support Centre, PFP.

Deliverables:

-Monthly reports to include number of activities performed related to administrative and fundraising activities that focus on corporate and private foundations partnerships.

Timeframe:

February 2018- January 2019

Task:

-Ensure regular communication with corporate partners through provision of reports, share of information that demonstrate the impact and outcomes of UNICEF and partners investments to secure sustainable partnerships

Deliverables:

-Monthly reports to include number and type of contacts with business partners related to UNICEFs engagement with business partners.

Timeframe:

February 2018-January 2019

 

Payment will be delivered in accordance with the monthly workplan and reports agreed between contractor and supervisor.

 

Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required:

Bachelor degree in social science, marketing, communication, journalism, international affairs.

 

Minimum Qualifications required:

Five years of professional work experience in sales and marketing of which at least two years is closely related to support of fundraising.

Excellent communication skills in English and Serbian languages, both written and verbal

1.Daily rate in RSD (all costs to be included e.g. health insurance, pension, usage of mobile phone)

2.Daily allowance cost for travel within Serbia in RSD (for overnight)

3.Daily allowance cost for travel within Serbia in RSD (without overnight, for more than 8 hours trip)

4.Transport costs per km (within Serbia, with all costs included)
