Purpose of the post

The HLMS Facilitator in Geneva is a senior trainer and contributes to delivering HLMS global programme and contributes to its ongoing evolution and evaluation. S/he contributes to the design and delivery of new content and ensure the overall coherence between the HLMS modules overall. 

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Lead the HLMS Module 3 facilitation (all three phases)
  • Ensure the coherence and alignment of the learning design, content and methodology of the HLMS modules.
  • Manage the academic accreditation and act as a focal point with the academic partner(s) on this file.
  • Ensure the availability and relevance of all pedagogical and technical design documents of all the sessions of the HLMS Modules.
  • Support in the facilitation of the HLMS Modules 1 and 2 in the field.
  • Contribute to the constant modification and evolution of all HLMS Modules and its relevance and link with strategic changes and evolution in the ICRC.

Education and experience required

  • University degree or equivalent at Masters level.
  • Fluent knowledge of English and French/Arabic/Spanish, and advantage
  • 10 years of overall professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years ICRC field experience and/or 5+ years leadership development experience.
  • 5+ years management experience.
  • Solid work experience in the field of Adult education, organisational development and/or executive coaching, an advantage.
