HR Business Partner

The International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking a proactive and responsible HR Business Partner with high level of commitment and excellent organizational skills to act as a first point of contact for the managers and employees in the business unit assigned in order to contribute with the delivery of people solutions and the implementation of wider HR strategies.

The position: This position will be based in Lima, Peru and report directly to the Senior HR Business Partner.

Duties and Accountabilities:

• ProvidesresearchandanalyticalinputstoseniorstaffindevelopmentofHRprojects(asreview current global policies and develop new ones)

• Prepare ad hoc (non – typical) HR metrics and reports to measure the impact of new policies in the salary budget.

• Support and advice managers and staff in solving HR issues and help them to interpret and apply HR policies and practices in day to day work.

• Translate business requirements into effective HR practices, delivering people solutions aligned with business objectives.

• Deliver induction program for new starters (NRS / Interns) to contribute with their smooth transition to the organization.

• Provide timely and effective recruitment and selection services, including advice on policies and procedures and good recruitment practices.

• Attend staff development needs and actively participate in supporting the expansion of the Talent Management program.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, procedures and practices. • Analyze the global compensation and benefits scheme to give advice and support about improvement initiatives.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Psychology or related

field, with 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position.

• Experience on Human Resources law and policies.

• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.

• Meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy required.

• Recognized expertise and ability to provide support related to Recruitment and Selection

services, Talent Management, and diverse HR functions.

• Knowledge of HR policies, principles and processes.

• Recognized as results-oriented team player who is adaptable to changing business needs and

capable of contributing to the team’s success effectiveness.

• Proficient on MS Excel, Word, Power Point, Access and Publisher.

What are the conditions?

The position is local thus limited to Peruvian nationals and permanent residents. The employment

contract will be for a one-year term (with a 3-month probation period) and the possibility of renewal.
