Purpose of the job:
The education technical assistant will be working under the direct supervision of the education officer and will be assisting in day to day activities especially in technical issues with education officer and will be strongly monitoring the students’ integration process to formal schools.

Job description

Provide support in the overall implementation of Community Based Education and/or Accelerating Learning Programming
Follow up and support students’ integration process into formal schools.
Assisting master trainer in developing of training curriculum and/or training materials.
Supporting master trainer in conducting ToT training sessions.
Resolving technical issues in ALC classes especially in female classes.
Providing technical support to the teachers in regard to scheduling student tests.
Checking up the students’ exams paper and provide on timely feedbacks to the field staff.
Data collection and record keeping of all information related to learners, teachers, attendance, exam marks, and etc. of Community Based Education and Accelerating Learning Program.
Data entry and maintain database updated.
PDM of scholastic and Community Based Education and/or Vocational training supplies
Organize and support training facilitation.
Community mobilization and awareness.
Preparation of administrative and logistic documents as required.
Individual follow up and interviews with learners and Accelerating Learning Classes’ Teachers.
Organization and facilitation of focus group discussion with learners and community.
Provide on the field support to of Community Based Education.
Contribute to reporting of the education activities to Education Officer and PM.
Any other task as assigned by Area Education Officer, PM and Area Manager

Qualifications

Certification/ Diploma in Education Commerce, Business Administration, Community Development, Marketing, Economics, or other related field
Minimum of 2 years’ working experience with humanitarian program in the fields of Education.
Excellent computer skills
Proficiency on Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong analysis skills (qualitative and qualitative)
Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
Good understanding of complex emergencies and crisis contexts
Flexible and creative.
Strong organizational and logistical skills
Knowledge of Pashto and Dari.
Knowledge of English is an asset
