The Health Officer reports to the NOC CSD Specialist for supervision. The Health Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the Health Programme within the Country Programme, from development planning to delivery of results, by preparing, executing, managing, and implementing a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, and evaluating and reporting of results. This vacancy notice opens for Indonesian nationals only and maybe considered for other locations.

How can you make a difference?

The Health Officer reports to the NOC CSD Specialist for supervision. The Health Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the Health Programme within the Country Programme, from development planning to delivery of results, by preparing, executing, managing, and implementing a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, and evaluating and reporting of results.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: public health/nutrition planning and management, maternal and neonatal health care, or health emergency/humanitarian preparedness.  
  • An Advanced Degree in public health/nutrition, pediatric health, family health, health research, global/international health, health policy and/or management, environmental health sciences, biostatistics, socio-medical, health education, epidemiology, or another relevant technical field. First level of university degree may be considered with minimum of five (5) years of professional related experience.  
  • Experience in both development and humanitarian contexts is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with island contexts programming is an added value 
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
