Security and safety Officer - Benghazi, Libya (National Position)

Job Overview: The Safety Officer is responsible for managing the safety/security function for NRC Operations in accordance with NRC Rules and Regulations.

Major RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct physical risk assessments for new areas or operation sites. Monitor and analyze the ongoing threat environment  and ensure that appropriate risk migration measures are taken. This is to include physical protection measures, safe working routines, movement restrictions, protection equipment and security staff provision, as required.
• Oversee movement control and coordination for the project, including driver and vehicle deployment and staff whereabouts.
• Ensure that security, safety and access operating procedures are explained to the concerned staff
• Support the Safety Manager.
• Alert the Safety advisor on important events and context dynamics in the area of implementation

REQUIREMENTS:

No double job.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years professional experience in similar positions. INGO experience is an asset.
Language: Fluency in Arabic and English

Computer proficiency (word, excel)
Other qualities: integrity, team work skills, flexibility.
