Midwife Mentor

The individual should be; Qualified Midwife with at least 5 years Tutor/mentor experience, Fully accredited by the relevant professional body.

This project is funded by Irish Aid's Volunteering Initiative which aims to promote volunteering within Ireland and the Irish public. Irish citizens or people living in Ireland are encouraged to apply.

Allowance and accommodation
All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home.

VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.
