The organization has one of the most extensive humanitarian operations in the region, with significant programmes across Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine. We are currently looking to recruit an Information Management Officer for our Middle East Regional Office.

For this key role our ideal candidate is:

A University Graduate in a relevant discipline with experience in the design and implementation of information management tools and systems. Solid information, communications, and technology skills are an asset. Fluency in English, both written and verbal is also essential for this role.

Position Description:

The purpose of the Information Management Officer position is to gather, classify, analyse, and present compliance and risk management related information in user-friendly formats to enable evidence-based decision-making by Regional and Country Management Groups.

Specific responsibilities related to the position include:

  1. Develop user-friendly information management reports, including Dashboards, and support the further development of the Recommendations Tracker
  2. Filter, check and process compliance and risk-management related data from multiple sources into user-friendly formats
  3. Provide analysis of trends
  4. Promote and share ideas for technical improvement of compliance and risk management tools, including the development of indicators
  5. Support Country Offices to strengthen their compliance management efforts through technical support on information management
  6. Contribute to the imbedding of automated internal control mechanisms
