The Position:

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management & Common Services Specialist to oversee a broad range of support services for the UNFPA Headquarters in New York, and 150 Field Offices globally. 

Reporting directly to the Chief, Administrative Services Section, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a fixed assets management strategy, analyzing our corporate fixed assets registry, providing guidance and support to all our global locations on fixed asset management and common services, as well as coaching and managing the Asset Management Associate.

In addition, you would oversee the corporate fixed assets registry, covering all fixed assets globally; ensure compliance with UN IPSAS rules, policies and procedures; act as a key contact for internal and external audits, ensuring best practices are implemented and maintained. 

If you have an advanced university degree in Business Administration, Finance / Accounting, or related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting (preferably with experience in accounting for fixed assets), we would welcome your application.
