Shelter Assistant - Benghazi, Libya - Field Operation

Job Overview: The purpose of the assistant position is to assist in the day to day implementation of the housing projects in accordance with NRC Rules and Regulations and national building standards.

Major Responsibilities:

• Assist with the implementation of the shelter portfolio according to plan of action

• Assist in the preparation and development of technical status reports as required by management

• Ensure that projects target beneficiary most in need, and explore and assess new and better ways to assist

• Assist in developing work plans for the technical aspects shelter activities

• Collaborate with teams from other core competencies to ensure that project beneficiaries are provided with the full packages of services available through NRC’s programming  or through referrals

Requirements:

No double job.

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years professional experience in similar positions. INGO experience is an asset.

Language: Fluency in Arabic and English

Computer proficiency (word, excel, CAD)

Other qualities: integrity, teamwork skills, flexibility.
