The EIB, the European Union's bank, is seeking for its Corporate Services - Buildings and Logistics Department - Buildings Management Office Division

at its headquarters in Luxembourg:

Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 1st September 2018)

(With possible extension up to 6 months if required by University)

Please note that you are requested to limit your applications to a maximum of three traineeship publications. We will only consider and retain the first three applications submitted.

Objective of the traineeship

The objective of the traineeship will be to increase knowledge sharing, collaboration and communication within the Building and Logistics Department, notably with the setup of a SharePoint based platform for the Department.

In this context, you would support the Quality Assurance, Systems & Reporting Unit to contribute to the implementation of effective communication on this project and actively follow-up on the progress of the project.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Quality Assurance, Systems & Reporting Unit and Communication Coordinator, you will:

  • Assist in the design and development of the SharePoint platform structure;
  • Review, update and create the communication material to facilitate the deployment and collaboration;
  • Support and gather experience in project implementation and in depth knowledge of information flow processes;
  • Actively follow-up the project implementation.

Academic qualifications and professional skills

  • Final year of studies or Master degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Communication or Project Management related degrees, knowledge of Facilities Management would be an advantage;
  • Good written and oral communication skills;
  • Experience or keen interest in Information Management would be an advantage;
  • Awareness of knowledge sharing concepts and tools, such as SharePoint, would be an advantage;
  • Proficiency in IT applications (Outlook, MS Office, notably PowerPoint);
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. French would be considered an advantage.
