Our Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a motivated professional to join our Syria Response Office’s dedicated Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of experience working in the Human Resources sector preferably in the humanitarian context, with expert skills and multi-years’ experience in recruitments.
Additional useful skills include experience in strategic workforce planning, experience in remotely supporting teams, advanced working knowledge of MS office package, good communication and interpersonal skills, and fluency in both English and Arabic language.
Position Description:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Be the main HR focal point for HR teams in the Area Offices, in addition to the HR Manager
- Pro-actively working to support Area Managers, Support Managers and HR Coordinators in running an effective HR function in the Area Offices
- Be the main technical focal point and expert on recruitment for the Area Offices, contributing to improve recruitment teams in the Area Offices
- Support NRC managers on workforce planning and effective recruitment processes
- Responsible for recruitments in SRO Amman
- Ensure recruitment SOP’s are followed and implemented, ensuring compliance and spot checking in Area Offices on recruitment processes
- Maintain relationships and communication with candidates through recruitment processes
- Oversee the on-boarding process for new staff across SRO, providing HR advice and assistance
- Liaise with NRC Lawyers on all related legal matters with relevance to the set Laws for different area offices
- Conduct research and stay up to date on recruitment best practices and trends
- Stay on top of relevant recruitment markets and analyze sourcing of qualified professionals
