PSI is the primary implementing partner for IMPACT Malaria (IM). IM is the global project under USAID's President's Malaria Initiative (PMI) providing implementation support and technical assistance to countries for malaria service delivery in health facility and community settings over a five-year period.

Your contribution

In order to facilitate start-up of the IM project in Sierra Leone, PSI wishes to engage a law firm in Sierra Leone to provide legal services in the following areas:

  1. Registration options to conduct programs and activities in Sierra Leone and any associated corporate requirements.

  2. Provide a thorough review of the options, including costs, duration, privileges and limitations

  3. Analyze the registration process and list the documentary requirements for each option

  4. Provide a registration recommendation

  5. Provide registration services after an option has been selected

  6. Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, licensing, registration, filing and other legal requirements including, without limitation, importation of goods and services and corporate and employee tax liability.

  7. Legal requirements for banking and financial transactions.

  8. Compliance with labor and employment laws, visa and other personnel entry requirements.

  9. Draft, review and negotiation of leases, vendor agreements, and other contracts.

  10. Representation of PSI in judicial or administrative proceedings, as necessary.

  11. Liaison with PSI's US legal counsel.

  12. Such other legal services as PSI may request in connection with its activities in Sierra Leone.
