The incumbent of this post reports technically and administratively to the Emergency Coordinator.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

•         Receiving and verifying requests for payments and invoices charged to the Emergency Response expenditures and ensure proper back charging, and follow up with relevant departments.

•         Coordinate with JFO Human Resources the recruitment of staff that works directly for the emergency activities for JFO and all other areas, generate the necessary contracts for such assignments, update "Staffing Sheet", monitor the financial coverage of these contracts and their work/leave schedules, and renew their contracts as and when required.

•         Raise PR, PO, SO, MPO, SES and follow up with the DUO, PLD, and finance.

•         Coordinate with (ARSSOs) for the logistics requirements and make the necessary action to ensure adequate provision is made.

•         Any purchases specific to our department or four Areas.

•         Consult and share with the JFO committee & four areas on the messaging

•         Requesting the bank to reissue new ATM cards/PINs to replace the old ATM cards and PINs.

•         Raise BAAs, and follow up on them with Finance.

•         Update the staffing sheet.

•         Support in updating the Projects financial reports on monthly basis.

•         Performs such other duties as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

•         University degree in business administration and any other related fields.

•         Two years of experience in administrative work.

•         Very good knowledge of English language and fluent in Arabic language.

•         Excellent computer skills.

•         Financial background is preferable.

Desirable Qualifications

•         Financial background is preferable.

•         Ability to work on REACH system is an asset.

EQUIVALENCY

When the minimum requirements are not fully met, the Field Director may exceptionally substitute part of the unmet requirements with a combination of relevant academic qualifications, additional professional training and progressive relevant work experience.

NB: Work experience alone or formal qualifications with no relevant work experience are not considered an acceptable combination.
