In the context of CBM’s Federation Strategy and new Operating Model, we are looking for our new Regional Administration Manager.

 

Main objective of the role:

The Regional Administration Manager is accountable for effective and efficient runing of all adminstrative and operational matters  including maintenance and logistics, travel and visit planning, meeting organization, reception, general secretarial duties. The job holder will establish procedures and mechanisms for simple and streamlined administrative operations. She/he will ensure efficient office administration to enable and facilitate the work for all departments. She/he will line manage any administration staff to ensure they function efficiently and effectively.

We are looking for someone who will…

•    Manage professional office administration and efficient operations of the Regional Hub Office, ensuring that any procedures and reporting requirements established by the CBM International Office are known, implemented and complied with; guide Country Offices on the same matter
•    Ensure that CBM is complying with in-country regulatory requirements such as registration and related annual reporting to relevant authorities
•    Effectively line-manage the administrative staff
•    Handle logistics for the visitors of the office (Travel bookings, visa applications etc.)
•    Ensure provision of secretarial and reception duties
•    Handle the disbursement of petty cash funds
•    Ensure property management and security of the premises
•    Ensure oversight and management of IT systems
•    Support the procurement of good and services
•    Support the HR manager with administrative and logistical aspects of expatriates’ assignments
•    Model and promote CBM’s values, culture and inclusive practices and promote disability and gender equality between colleagues
 
We are looking for someone who has…

•    Academic degree in General Management, Business Administration or any other relevant field. 
•    Minimum three years’ experience in a similar position within a reputable organisation, preferably a development organisation 
•    Effective interpersonal and communication skills. 
•    Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks efficiently 
•    Highly organised and self-directed, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment 
•    Ability and willingness to work outside office regular hours
•    Ability to proactively anticipate any potential issues or risks for the office 
•    High level of professionalism, maturity and integrity when dealing with sensitive information and issues
•    Ability to work diplomatically and with sensitivity with individuals from a variety of cultures, professions and personal backgrounds Reflect CBM values in daily work
•    A lived experience of disability would be advantageous
