The Position:

The Humanitarian Procurement Associate supports programme/project implementation by providing efficient procurement services ensuring accurate and timely procurement of goods and services for the Humanitarian Unit and assists in resolving procurement related issues.

Requirements:

Education: 

Completed Secondary Level Education required.  First level university degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Finance or other relevant fields is desirable.

Knowledge and Experience:

Six (6) years of relevant experience in Procurement or other related fields;

Prior experience in procurement for health and health related projects is desirable;

Demonstrated capacity to source suppliers/vendors and maintain excellent professional relationships with them;

Familiarity with the UN system will be an advantage.

Languages:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including fluency in English and national language.
