Gender Advisor

Role Overview:

The Gender Advisor will provide overall technical support in gender, women and girls economic empowerment in Financial Inclusion. The Volunteer will promote gender-sensitive innovations, provide technical assistance and build capacities of Women's Economic and Financial Inclusion Project (WEFIP) partners to increase women and girl's agencies, access and use of financial products and services for economic empowerment and recovery. S/he will undertake needs and evidence-based research, build and strengthen partnerships, provide technical assistance and build capacities of partner's in gender and inclusive approaches to financial inclusion and economic empowerment and recovery.

The Volunteer will closely work with VSO Social Inclusion and Gender Advisor, Social Accountability Advisor and Resilience Advisor based in VSO Yangon office to ensure inclusion, resilience and accountability in women empowerment and financial inclusion initiatives.

The volunteer will be based in in Yangon and will travel national wide.
