Amnesty International (AI) is seeking an experienced administrator to join our International Recruitment Team.

You'll be working closely with our International Recruitment Advisers and have ownership of a variety of tasks with the primary objective of ensuring the effective administration of our diverse and complex international recruitment activity.

You will be joining Amnesty International during its biggest change in fifty years, giving you chance to be part of an exciting, fast-paced and global organisation, with lots of scope to broaden and develop your existing recruitment skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of the wider People and Organisation Development Programme, the International Recruitment Team supports the organization by providing an efficient and professional recruitment service across all international offices.

Based in London, you will proactively support the International Recruitment Advisers, assisting them in administering and co-ordinating the end to end recruitment process. You will be responsible for monitoring and responding to the careers mailbox, assisting the Advisers with interview scheduling and with the preparation of conditional offers and contracts for all levels of candidates. As the single point of contact for our external pre-employment provider, Sterling Talent you will monitor all UK and International checks, liaising with our account manager and providing daily updates to the Recruitment Advisers, and other stakeholders.

At the core of this role is providing an exemplary candidate and hiring manager experience; this is a fast paced and high volume role with plenty scope for learning and potentially running your own recruitment related projects.

ABOUT YOU

With significant administration experience within a busy office environment, you will be able to work quickly, methodically and accurately, even under pressure. You'll be able to prioritise and organize work in order to get important routine and long term work done despite the pressure of urgent demands from others.

You must also be competent in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and have experience of using an Applicant Tracking System. We're seeking a team player, who is able to work easily in a close-knit team, sharing information and collaborating with others.

Though previous experience of working in a Human Resources Department or Recruitment team is not essential, you must have an interest in working in Human Resources and/or Recruitment. You'll be a highly advanced communicator, with the ability to write clear correspondence, reports, adverts and job descriptions. A calm, professional manner, both in person and on the telephone, is essential as is the ability to be firm and assertive when appropriate to people at all levels.
