Supply Manager (Open for Residents of Sweden and Finland)

Position overview

MSF Sweden is recruiting several Supply professionals for MSF field projects. During the recruitment process, applicants are validated for MSF field projects. Once recruited candidates are matched for specific missions that correspond with their previous professional experiences. Applicants, therefore, need to be prepared to go to any type of context and motivated to go for several missions with MSF.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define or revise the supply chain strategy according to the context and operational needs of the project
• Ensure the stability of supply activities within regular and emergency interventions
• Manage supply orders, procurement, transportation and delivery
• Provide ongoing technical support to the supply teams as well as the other departments
• Ensure efficient supply administration and provide adapted tools to support the various supply activities
• Approve the use of supply-related third parties (suppliers, transport companies, freight forwarders)
• Manage, supervise and train the supply team

REQUIREMENTS

• Currently permanent resident in Sweden or Finland
• At least two years´ relevant professional experience (Excluding internships)
• Professional experience in one of the following areas: procurement, order processing/purchasing, inventory management, import/export, transport/freight, stock management, warehouse management, supply chain development
• IT skills (Excel, Word)
• English level C1
• Available for a minimum of 9 months

VALUABLE

• Diploma in supply chain management
• Arabic or French knowledge at a minimum of level B1
• Experience in consumable stock management (ideally pharmacy)
• Experience working in low-income countries
• People management experience

Condition of employment

Type of employment: Fixed-term contract. Field based fixed-term position full time, various locations
Duration: 6 - 12 months
Salary: 13 079 SEK/month, according to MSF salary scale
Benefits: MSF covers costs for travel, accommodations, and Per Diem. We also provide insurance coverage, medical examinations, and any necessary vaccinations.
