                     “NTD Technical Coordinator - South Sudan”


Main objective of the role:


Reporting to the Africa NTD Programme Coordinator, the job holder will provide technical support to manage the NTD programme portfolio and strategically oversee the design and delivery across the programme in South Sudan; including budget, development, project monitoring and evaluation. The NTD Technical Coordinator will also ensure capacitiy building and build close collaborative networks with donors and national counterpartrs across the country.

We are looking for someone who will...
•    Reinforce the effective implementation of the National NTD Master Plan for elimination of NTD´s in South Sudan
•    Assist the NTD Programme in designing and implementing Mass Drug Administration
•    Develop appropriate IEC strategies in collaboration with partners and conduct health education to raise awareness
•    Provide technical expertise and support to programme development and action plans based on evidence and research studies
•    Promote the development and implementation of the disability inclusion policy throughout NTD programme work
•    Facilitate the use of Tools, Methods and Approaches for Monitoring and Evaluation purposes within the National NTD Programme
•    Drive capacity building on multi-disciplinary programme management with a comprehensive approach in coordination with related stakeholders 
•    Supports country assessment, risk planning, management and data-driven financial reporting
•    Advocate the involvement of local NGOs in NTD elimination activities
•    Work closely with CBM´s Country Office and CBM´s NTD team to assure effective communication and delivery

We are looking for someone who has...
•    Master degree in Public Health, Business Administration or equivalent
•    Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in a field-based position with an NGO
•    Knowledge of project cycle management, including budget management and report drafting using Log Frame approach
•    Proven knowledge in medical and technical aspects of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTD) and/or treatment strategies
•    Experience in Disability Inclusive Development would be advantageous
•    Profound advocacy, communication and relationship building skills
•    Willingness to work and/or travel in high-risk areas following safety & security protocols
•    Professional proficiency in English
•    Good knowledge of MS Office (particularly advanced Excel skills, including MS Navision and MS Sharepoint solutions)
•    Affinity with statistic software such as Epistat and/or GIS data management would be advantageous
