Would you like to work with one of the largest humanitarian organisations in the world and be part of a broader network trying to make a difference?  The British Red Cross is looking to recruit a Team Assistant for our International Directorate's Performance and Accountability (P&A) Department.

You will be joining us at a very exciting time with the start of our new five year International strategy in which the P&A Department will be playing a critical role.  We need someone with excellent co-ordination, facilitation, budget and administrative skills to be a vital member of the team, managed by the Head of Department.

The P&A Department leads on our work with the Department for International Development (DFID).  We need someone who is able to excel at compiling, reviewing and editing documents needed for proposal development and reporting to DFID.

The P&A Department leads on providing the programme and information systems necessary to support our work overseas, and in 2019 we are making a major investment in upgrading these systems.  We need someone who has proven IT skills and who is able to provide ongoing support and train the Directorate in using these systems both in groups and individually.

The P&A Department leads on collating, analysing and producing the Directorate's reports and in 2019 we are introducing new dashboard reporting.  We need someone who is able to work collaboratively to produce high quality dashboards that will help the Directorate in its decision making.

The P&A Department leads co-ordinating and managing our regular Directorate weeks for more than 150 of our UK and overseas staff.  We need someone with events management experience to co-ordinate all aspects of these weeks.
