Technical Officer (Maternal %26 Child Health), NPO

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

1- Le developpement et la mise en œuvre des politiques, strategies nationales et plans operationnels en matiere de sante de la mere, du nouveau-ne, de l'enfant et de l'adolescentet promotion Genre;2- Le developpement et la mise en œuvre de directives, normes et standards en matiere de sante de l'enfant et de l'adolescent, avec un accent particulier sur la mise a l'echelle de la PCIME clinique et communautaire; 3- La collaboration avec les partenaires impliques dans les activites de renforcement du systeme de sante et des services de la sante en faveur du couple mere-enfant, de nutrition, de vaccination, de prevention et la prise en charge du VIH/SIDA et du Paludisme.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

1- Servir de point focal de l'OMS pour la mise en œuvre des interventions de sante de la reproduction, maternelle, neonatale, infantile, des adolescents et des personnes agees;2- Appuyer le Ministere de la Sante, les autres departements du Gouvernement, les Partenaires et ONG, dans l'elaboration, la mise en œuvre et le suivi/evaluation des politiques, strategies et plans relatifs a la sante maternelle, neonatale, infantile et des adolescents, y compris la nutrition;3 - Appuyer le processus de developpement, la mise en œuvre des normes, standards de qualite des services et outils contribuant a la reduction de la mortalite maternelle, neonatale, infantile et des adolescents, notamment ceux relatifs a la PCIME clinique et communautaire; 4 - Apporter un appui pour la conception et la mise en œuvre de programmes visant l'accroissement de l'acces des jeunes et adolescents aux services de prevention de la maladie et de promotion de la sante a travers les programmes de sante scolaire et universitaire, de sante de l'adolescent et autres initiatives; 5 - Renforcer la collaboration entre les agences du Systeme des nations unies, les partenaires bilateraux et multilateraux et les ONG impliques dans les programmes de sante maternelle, neonatale, infantile et des adolescents, y compris la nutrition; 6 - Appuyer le suivi/evaluation des programmes de maternelle, neonatale, infantile et des adolescents et la mobilisation des ressources ;7 - Apporter un appui a la recherche operationnelle sur les divers aspects de sante de la reproduction, des enfants et des adolescents, et de nutrition, y compris la documentation et la dissemination de bonnes pratiques; 8 - Apporter un appui technique pour une meilleure integration des programmes de sante, notamment ceux relatifs a la sante maternelle et infantile, la nutrition et le VIH/SIDA, et pour le renforcement du systeme de sante en vue de la Couverture Sanitaire Universelle (CSU);9 - Executer toute les activites requises par le Representant de l'OMS.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Essential\: Doctorat en Medecine
Desirable\: Diplome postuniversitaire de sante publique, ou en gynecologie - obstetrique ou en pediatrie.

Experience

Essential\: Avoir une experience pratique d'au moins cinq (05) ans en planification, mise en œuvre, monitorage et supervision des activites de sante maternelle et infantile au niveau national.
Desirable\: Avoir une experience professionnelle de collaboration avec les organisations bilaterales ou multilaterales.

Skills

Solides connaissances en gestion des programmes de la sante de la mere et de l'enfant ;Connaissances en recherche epidemiologique.

REMUNERATION

Remuneration comprises an annual base salary starting at XOF 21,849,000 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
