The Site Supervisor will be responsible for organizing and managing Cash for Work CfWsites for beneficiaries, ensuring worker attendance, tools and materials, drinking water, and overall safety and security of the Cash for Worker, so that proper documentation of CfW activities, reporting of attendance and payment can be made. 
 
 
About the job  
 
The individual will report directly to the Team Leader-Project Support. The main duties and responsibilities will be:  
 
• Provide technical input and supervision of project works on program site/s; 
• Assist the Team Leader – Site Supervision, and Information Management with the:  
• Preparation of the workers’ attendance sheets and Data entry to DRC Data base  
• Assist in the distribution of ATM cards to beneficiaries and mitigation/reporting of any issues regarding ATM cards and payments of workers; 
• Ensure that all necessary documentations related to the Cash for Work CfW activities are collected, scanned and uploaded in DRC data base in an accurate and timely manner; 
• Assist in ensuring Accountability, legal, protection, payment, safety and work cycle information provided to the beneficiaries, and follow up with reminders so that workers know their rights; 
• Ensure the respect and application of DRC Code of Conduct and DRC Policies and Procedures; 
• Assist in providing beneficiaries (Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanians) with effective information and support on project Cash for Work activities at their work sites, including all protection, safety, financial and legal awareness sessions. 
• Liaise closely with the DRC Livelihood Technical Unit at the coordination office and other DRC Jordan departments when necessary. 
• Drive to multiple sites with own vehicle. Mileage will be reimbursed per DRC policies. 
• Any other task as required by GIZ base manager;  
 
 
 
About you  
 
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, irrigation, water management, natural resource management required. Master’s preferred. 
• Experience working with rural communities in Jordan; 
• Experience working with local and national government entities in Jordan, specifically the Jordan Valley Authority (JVA), the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA), and/or the Department of Forestry (FD); 
• Experience working with vulnerable communities and associated stakeholders; 
• Experience working in a team environment, both as a leader and collaborator, required; 
• Ability to think creatively and to be solution oriented; 
• Ability and willingness to maintain regular presence at project sites and to work during irregular working hours; 
• Ability to write submit data and requests and other paperwork in a timely fashion 
• Computer skills (Excel, Microsoft, PowerPoint and Outlook). 
• Data Analysis skills (Excel or Power-BI or SPSS) 
• Understanding of the socio-economic conditions and needs of Syrian refugee populations desirable;  
• Ability to work effectively as an integral part of a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural team and to work with a wide range of government and community counterparts, and other actors; 
• Valid driving license  
• Arabic (Expert) English (excellent)
