TRAINEE

Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 01st September 2019)

Objective of the traineeship

The Employee Relations and Well-being Division brings together legal expertise within the Personnel, Corporate Services Directorate and serves as the key interface with the Legal Directorate on legal matters. The Division also provides advice on services and solutions for effective conflict prevention and management, developing and applying policies and managing conflict-resolution procedures. It contributes to the social dialogue in the Bank by coordinating and supporting the implementation and update of the framework for social dialogue.

You will provide assistance and support to the team by primarily carrying out the research and analysis in the field of occupational health, under the supervision of the Organisational Health Officer with the expertise in occupational health.  This support provides the background work and preliminary preparation of the research topics required to support the team’s policies.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Head of Division and the Organisational Health Officer, you will provide support and assistance to the team in the occupational health domain. Your tasks will include:

  • Research and analysis of the latest developments in the field of occupational health;
  • Preparation of reports, drafting of internal notes and other specific assignments as required;
  • Preparation of policies in the domain of occupational health;
  • Identifying good practices in occupational health management based on benchmarking data and literature review.

    Academic qualifications and professional skills

  • Final phase of studies or University degree Health Management and/or Occupational Health (Master’s degree or preferably a PhD);
  • Excellent knowledge of standard Microsoft Office tools (in particular Excel and Word);
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Good knowledge of French would be an advantage.
