TRAINEE
Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 1st September 2019)

Objective of the traineeship
The overall objective of the traineeship is to prepare a comprehensive recommendation of optimizations - content and functionalities - to be implemented in the context of the EIB.org website full rebuilt.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Head of Web Content Unit, your main task will be to prepare a comprehensive recommendation of optimizations - content and functionalities - to be implemented in the context of the EIB.org website full rebuilt.
The EIB.org website will need to be entirely rebuilt in the midterm in order to make it state-of-the-art, both from a contributor standpoint (i.e. for content owners and publishers working for the EIB) and from a user standpoint (i.e any person browsing the website for information and services - meaning for EIB colleagues and even more importantly for external users).
The overall goal of the internship will therefore be to help pave the way to an optimal rebuilt of the website by auditing the existing and benchmarking with a set of other MDBs, media and other industries websites to propose how the current website could be upgraded most relevantly.
More specifically, you will have:
- Final phase of studies or University degree in Online Communications, Communications, Media;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English. Working knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage;
- Understanding of the EIB’s mission, strategy, policies and organisation, and of its institutional and political context;
- Some practical experience in media organisations, corporate communication or PR agencies;

Familiarity with web design and/or social media activation a plus.
