UNICEF Cambodia is looking for a Health and Nutrition Officer, NOA based in Phnom Penh with Child Survival and Development Section. The Health and Nutrition Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the health and nutrition programme and projects. The incumbent applies theoretical and technical skills in researching, collecting and analyzing information/data, and presenting technical programme information to support the development and formulation of the Health and Nutrition Programme within the Country Programme, while learning organizational rules, regulations and procedures. To qualify as a high-level advocator for every child, you will have…
- A university degree in one of the following fields relevant to health and nutrition: medicine (medical doctor), public health, epidemiology, global/international health, research, policy development, services management, health sciences, or another health-related science field of relevance.
- A minimum of one year of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: health, immunization, nutrition, public health, health/nutrition planning and management, maternal, infant and child health/nutrition care.
- Fluency in English. Knowledge of another official UN language is considered as an asset.
- Experience in health/nutrition programme/project development in a UN system agency or organization is an asset.

UNICEF’s compensation system is governed by the UN Staff Rules and Regulations and the International Civil Service Commission. This position is an entry professional level of National Professional Category at NOA of Fixed-term contract type with an attractive salary scale in the UN System in Cambodia.
