London (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland)

Salary: £34,628 pro-rata per annum, plus excellent benefits

Based: London

Contract: Fixed-term

We are currently looking for an exceptional and talented candidate to join our Human Resources Team for a 12-month period on a maternity cover basis, commencing in October.

As HR Business Partner, you will contribute to the development and implementation of Alert’s global HR strategy and the delivery of high-quality HR services to ensure the smooth running of our global operations. You will be a pro-active driver for HR initiatives while also providing effective and strategic support to the organisation’s leaders and managers.

A fundamental part of this role will be to manage and advise on recruitment and talent management approaches and processes as well as overseeing both the on-boarding and induction process for new starters. This is a unique opportunity for an energetic individual who thinks strategically, brings a creative approach to their work and thrives on balancing and prioritising a varied workload. You will enjoy working as part of a diverse and dispersed organisation and join in our commitment to the mission and values of Alert.

Kindly note the above are some of the requirements for the job. For the full job requirements and how to apply, please go to Please upload your CV and cover letter.

As it is unlikely that we will be able to obtain a Work Permit for this role, all job applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Closing date: 23rd June 2019 23.45pm (UK time)

Please note that we reserve the right to close the vacancy before the stated closing date, therefore early applications are encouraged.

While International Alert will endeavour to contact all candidates within a reasonable time, this may not always be possible due to limited resources. Therefore, if you have not heard from us within two weeks of the closing date, you can assume that your application has, on this occasion, been unsuccessful. International Alert is an equal opportunities employer. All applicants will be judged strictly on the basis of merit.

We do our best to provide you the most accurate info, but closing dates may be wrong on our site. Please check on the recruiting organization's page for the exact info. Candidates are responsible for complying with deadlines and are encouraged to submit applications well ahead.
Before applying, please make sure that you have read the requirements for the position and that you qualify.
Applications from non-qualifying applicants will most likely be discarded by the recruiting manager.
