JobOverview/Summary:

IRC is currentlylookingfor a motivated medical professional whohas a backgroundin Clinical filed  with substantivetraining experienceinacurativeandpreventivehealthcaresetting.ThispositionisbasedintheIRCOffice inSangklaburi. TheClinical Trainerwillberesponsiblefororganizinginitialtrainingforacadreofmedic and midwifestudentsinBan Don Yang and Tham Hin temporarysheltersinKanchanaburi  and Ratchaburi province.TrainingcourseswillincludemanagementofcommonPrimaryHealth Carediseases,common infectiousdiseases ofpublichealthconcerns,common chronicdiseases,medicalemergencies, surgicalemergencies, obstetricemergenciesandpediatricemergenciesinaccordancewithstandardprotocolsobserved inthehospitals in therefugeecamps.

 MajorResponsibilities:

1.Conducttrainingassessmenttoidentifylevelofknowledgeofparticipantsinorderto designtraining methodandtrainingmaterials

2.Review theexistingCCSDPT(CommitteeforCoordinationofServices toDisplacedPersonsinThailand) MedicTrainingcurriculum and other IRC training Curriculums, suggestnecessarychangeorinputstomeetwiththecampcontextand participantstrainingneed assessment.

3.Developandfinalizetrainingmanual,materials,schedules,evaluationchecklistsandothernecessary protocolsbasedontheCCSDPTtrainingcurriculumforthetrainingofmedicsin Ban Don Yang and midwifes in Tham Hin refugeecamps.

4.Conducttrainingforparticipantsnamelycamp base assistants – medic and midwifestudentsbasedonthecurriculumdeveloped andtheagreedtimeline.

5.Preparemonthlyandfinalreportstoprovideupdatesofthetrainingto the Senior HealthCoordinator andthe Senior ClinicalManagers.

6.Conductevaluationchecklistandfinalexamination,analysesresultoftrainingandprovidefeedbackto Senior Health CoordinatorsandSenior ClinicalManagers

7.Uponcompletionofthetraining,coordinatewithSr.ClinicalManagers andevaluateknowledge,skills andattitudeofnewmedic students, soastodevelop furthertrainingneedsincludingon-the-job training

Deliverables:

·Review trainingcurriculums ( Medics, Midwifes and Nurses)

·Trainingneeds assessment and trainingplanformedic and midwifestudents

·Progress report submitted on amonthlybasison theprogress of thetraining

·Trainingpackage, whichincludes trainingmaterialsand trainingmanuals

·Feedback from the students and training evaluation results

Qualifications

JobRequirements:

Therequirementsshouldestablishabaseline(minimum)foreducationalbackground,previous workexperience,professionalknowledgeorcertification,specificskillsandstrengthsandanyotherskillnecessaryto perform theessential functionsof thejob.

Education:MedicalDoctor(M.B.,B.S)

WorkExperience: Minimumofthree(3)yearsofexperiencesinclinicalcareandtrainingand/oroversight of health staffpreferablyin a primaryhealthcaresetting

DemonstratedSkillsandCompetencies:
