The MCO also supports capacity-development of gender equality advocates and coordinates awareness campaigns on EVAW.

In addition, the MCO works with national partners to promote the leadership and political participation of women. Gender equality advocates and their organizations can also count on the MCO’s support for their advocacy initiatives to promote women’s leadership and political participation, including through quotas.
