Senior Development Consultant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Development Consultant to join our Development Centre team in Dubai.

We are currently seeking a SENIOR DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT to work within our Development Centre to play a leading role in securing new opportunities for Education Development Trust in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Based in Dubai, this will focus on providing support to the MENA regional operations team to develop new large-scale education reform opportunities, and also support opportunity development in the MENA region for our consultancy team.

You will provide high quality education solution design, bid writing and bid management for both technical consultancy and high-value business opportunities. You will be able to manage multi-disciplinary teams to deliver compelling proposals and other team projects. You will manage the pipeline for opportunities in the MENA region, and ensure we have a strategy to deliver it. You will also help create policy and thought leadership materials as needed, working with the R&D team, to support the wider positioning of the organisation in the region.

We would welcome applications from candidates with significant experience in education management or consultancy with a track record of designing education projects (preferably large-scale), programmes or services and securing funding from clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience at all stages of the business development cycle, from market analysis through to pre-procurement and positioning, proposal development and mobilisation. They will also have strong technical knowledge of education programming. Working knowledge of Arabic would be beneficial.
