Project Management and Subject Matter Experts, Agriculture and Rural Empowerment, Lebanon

ACDI/VOCA is promptly seeking management and technical experts for the anticipated USAID-funded Agriculture and Rural Empowerment in Lebanon award. The program will increase sustainable economic opportunities for rural communities to increase investment and create employment that results in positive social impact. Agriculture and Rural Empowerment is a forward-thinking activity which will empower rural communities and investors to participate in productive employment and enhance business development services with the emphasis on promotion of economic independence of women and youth. The 5-year activity is funded by USAID and envisioned to start in 2020.

Responsibilities

• Technical Deputy Chief of Party
• Finance and Administration Director
• Monitoring and Evaluation Director
• Technical experts with essential experience in:
• Agronomics
• Rural Development
• Business Development Services
• Private Sector engagement across agriculture and non-farm industries
• Access to Finance
• Women and Youth
• Organizational Capacity Development

Qualifications

While each position will have its own operational and technical scope under the project, overall qualifications will meet the below:

• Advanced degree in a field related to the specific technical discipline (above)
• Substantial experience in the related technical area, including in the private sector
• Experience with USAID and/or any other international donor-funded project preferred
• Professional proficiency in Arabic and English required.
• Previous experience working Lebanon required.
