HR System Advisor (f/m)

Location: Innsbruck or Vienna/Austria

SOS Children’s Villages International is the umbrella organisation for the global federation of SOS Children’s Villages. As a non-governmental social development organisation we help children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions through services in care, education, health and emergency relief, and we advocate for children’s rights. We work in 136 countries and territories, reaching over one million children, young people, families and caregivers each year.

Mission

To improve efficiencies, the organization is implementing a new and multi-module ERP system based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 across 100+ countries.
The HR System Advisor will support the implementation of the HR sub-project by driving & supporting continuous improvement of the existing systems, ensuring that the implemented systems are up & running, solving system issues with appropriate urgency as well as providing user support & trainings.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Supports the implementation of the ERP D365 – HR systems and decides on project solution, timelines and scope together with all stakeholders
  • Manages a specific set of work packages and regional areas in the implementation of the ERP project, including planning & steering, reporting, vendor steering, stakeholder management, training provision, service desk and budget monitoring
  • Drives and supports continuous improvements and ensure with internal ICT and external consultants availability and proper working of the systems under the responsibility of HR
  • Contributes to projects with IT implication in the area Human Resources and Organisation Development and decides, together with all stakeholders, on solution to be implemented, timelines as well as scope of system implementation
  • Ensures effective support for the users working with the system
Requirements
  • Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration with focus on information systems management 
  • Strong experience in the field of IT and/or HR
  • Previous experience in managing IT/HR projects with multiple stakeholders 
  • Previous experience with system implementation in the domain of HR as well as in a multinational and/or NGO environment would be preferred
  • Good IT system knowledge ideally with focus on the HR domain
  • Experience in translating business requirements into domain IT solutions
  • Sound analytical skills to draw business-relevant conclusions
  • Very good English languages skills, good command of German would be an advantage
  • A valid Austrian working permit or eligibility to work within the EU
