The International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) is a treaty-based international organization with headquarters in The Hague, the Netherlands. Its mandate is to secure the cooperation of governments and others in locating and identifying missing persons. Forensic Anthropology, Archaeology and Crime Scene Roster
ICMP maintains a number of country projects dealing with the missing persons issue and Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) efforts, which may make use of ICMP’s forensic expertise.
Assignments may vary in duration, scope and frequency such as short-term deployments to provide technical assistance in country programs, targeted expert training to ICMP staff and external stakeholders, and provision of technical advise on projects and programs.
